Alethea Hickman Executive Pastry Chef Born in Syracuse NY, Grew up in South Miami now living in Coral Springs I have been involved in Pastries ever since I was a child. Professionally for 29 years. Because of my "Passion for Pastries" I have grown to be excellent at what I do, I am totally self taught. I have worked as a pastry chef in places e.g. The Breakers in Palm Beach, The Boca Raton Resort, and St. Andrews Country club. I have owned and operated two bakeries, Roman's Bakery in Ft. Lauderdale for 13 years, and presently I own and operate Passion for Pastry Inc (retail) and Dessert Design (wholesale). Together with my husband of 32 years we raised our family with 3 children, at the same time doing everything and anything I can do to grow, learn and become the best in my field. |
